1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of licensedthisweek.com and the LicensedThisWeek subscription (the "Service"). By subscribing, requesting a sample, or using the site, you agree to these terms, the privacy policy, the acceptable use policy, the data license and the refund policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
2. The Service
LicensedThisWeek delivers a weekly compilation of new home care agency licenses drawn from official state license records, by email and as a CSV and XLSX file. Coverage, fields and delivery day are described on the coverage and pricing pages and may change as states change what they publish.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate contact and billing details and keep them current. You are responsible for activity under your subscription. One subscription serves one company; see the data license for seat terms.
4. Fees and billing
Fees are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page. Founding prices hold while the subscription stays active. We will give at least 30 days notice by email before any price change applies to you. Taxes may be added where required. Failed payments may pause delivery until resolved.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. See how to cancel. Access lasts through the end of the paid cycle. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.

7. Data accuracy
Records reflect what states publish. States can be late, incomplete or wrong. We verify each row against its official record and fix valid corrections within 24 hours, but we do not guarantee that any record is complete, current or error free. Each row links to its official record so you can check it.
8. Your use of the data
Your rights to use the data are set out in the data license. You must follow the acceptable use policy and all laws that apply to your outreach, including the TCPA, the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, the National Do Not Call Registry and state telemarketing and privacy laws. You are solely responsible for how you contact anyone in the data.
9. Intellectual property
The site, the compilation, its format, labels and classifications belong to LicensedThisWeek. Underlying public facts remain public. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, the acceptable use policy or the data license, or if your use creates legal risk for us or others. Where practical we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. The Service is not legal, compliance or credentialing advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify LicensedThisWeek against third party claims arising from your outreach or your breach of these terms, the acceptable use policy or the data license.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept them.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Venue: the state and federal courts located in New Jersey. Before filing any claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute in good faith by email for 30 days.
16. General
These terms are the entire agreement on this subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent.
