1. Who we are

LicensedThisWeek is operated by Carlos Artavia. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. What we collect from you

What you enter in our forms: name, company, email, buyer category, states and your message. Subscription records: plan, billing status and invoices. Billing details are handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers. Basic server logs kept by our host, such as IP address and request time, for security.

3. How we use it

To send the sample and the weekly issue, run billing, answer messages, handle corrections, keep the service secure and meet legal duties. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for third party advertising.

4. What we publish

Business licensing data that states already publish: agency name, license type and date, administrator name, business phone, and where a state publishes it, the agency email. No patient data is collected or held. No guessed emails.

5. Analytics and cookies

This site runs no analytics scripts and sets no tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout and portal pages under its policy.

6. Processors

We share only what is needed with: a form processor (form submissions), Stripe (billing), our email delivery provider, Cloudflare (hosting). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

7. Retention

Form messages: up to 24 months. Subscriber and billing records: as long as the subscription is active and then as required for tax and accounting, typically 7 years. Server logs: per host defaults.

8. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and limited access. No method is perfectly secure.

9. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of any email at any time with the unsubscribe link. Residents of states with privacy laws, including California, may have added rights; we honor them. Write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

10. Listed agencies

Agencies and administrators listed from state records can request corrections on the corrections page. Valid corrections are fixed within 24 hours.

11. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

12. Changes

We will post updates here and email subscribers about material changes.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
